Hari and Jamuna belong to a working class family. They married each other when Hari was 24 years old and Jamuna was 22 years old. After one year she became pregnant. She did regular ANC check ups. Expected date of delivery had come, but she did not go into labour. She went to Baglung hospital. She waited for one week in Baglung Bazaar near the hospital, but still she did not start labour pain. According to the advice of family members, on 2069/4/19, she underwent a cesarean section. The baby and the mother were both healthy. But later on the baby showed symptoms of danger signs. The newborn could not suck milk, had a fever, and the abdomen was also distended. The baby was referred to Manipal Hospital in Pokhara. The baby was kept in Manipal hospital for 15 days, and then returned to home. But the baby again developed the same problems and again was sent Baglung, again referred to Pokhara, and then finally to Kathmandu. In Kathmandu, the baby received an operation on its intestine at 7am. After the operation the baby could suck milk, but at 3pm the baby died. The family went to the hospital with their newborn baby, but had to return without their new child. The baby never had a chance to get to know this world, leaving it all to fast. It died on 2069/6/21.
